Julienne Waters
Julienne grew up in the beautiful Four Corners area of the southwestern United States, with parents who encouraged her creative abilities from an early age. Her love of the arts continued to intersect with daily life into adulthood--not the least of which has been raising five children with a sensitivity to each of their distinctive abilities.
Julienne strongly believes that creating and living art brings passion back into life, while stimulating learning for children and adults. Throughout her 25-year working career, she has combined her artistic talents with a lifelong interest in holistic health as a cosmologist, aesthetician, and massage therapist. In addition to her work, she has dedicated hundreds of hours to teaching art as well as involvement in community projects, and is certified in Body-Centered and Relationship Transformation by the Hendricks Institute.
"Art Without Boundaries" feels like the perfect segue for this soon-to-be "empty nester". Drawing on one-on-one relationships with multi-generational friends and clients who have impacted her life, has given Julienne the empathy and insight to work with this very special population.
"Passing on a God-given love of art is my way of sowing the seeds of creativity back into the fertile minds and hearts of others," says Julienne. "I'm honored to be a part of Noell Hammer's exciting new work with patients with cognitive impairment."

" Many caregivers are still experiencing changes in behavior from once difficult residents that had an opportunity to paint with you. This program has been an invaluable means of connecting the community to this facility.
People are coming into the facility to see what everyone is talking about. The media coverage about Art Without Boundaries has given us numerous marketing opportunities."
