- I am trained and experienced in acrylic painting and understand color and composition.
- I can do representational art. (meaning that the work depicts something easily recognized by most people.)
- I am able to speak English and read and comprehend a curriculum written in English.
- I have a desire to help autistic children and Alzheimer's patients.
- I can carry a recognizable tune. (if someone can tell you are singing happy birthday, that's good enough for us)
- I have at least two years of college or art school ( or equivalent life experience)
- I am in good health and financially and emotionally stable.
- I can work independently without supervision and have my own computer
- I want to use my talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
MnemeTherapy (NEMMA therapy) uses everyday pleasures such singing, movement, painting, and story telling in a unique combination. By sustaining attentive focus, the brain can initiate a natural process called neuroplasticity.
